Ctrack, in collaboration with the Youth Employment Service (YES), is providing a 12-month opportunity for unemployed South African youth to gain hands-on technical experience. This programme aims to empower youth by equipping them with essential skills through meaningful workplace exposure. The Technician role focuses on installation, servicing, and inspections of technical units and company-approved products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all pre- and post-inspections as per department or branch requirements
• Install, repair, and service all units and company-approved products in line with company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and all Company Policies and Procedures
• Request training from the HR Team if any concerns arise
• Complete administrative tasks as requested by management and make use of company systems

Qualifications

• Must be a South African citizen
• Aged between 18 and 29
• Must be unemployed and not have previously participated in the YES programme
• Must reside close to the workplace (Centurion, Irene)
• Highest qualification should be Grade 12
• A technical qualification aligned to the position is an advantage
• Must not have a criminal record
• Must be able to start employment on 1 May 2025
• Must have a valid driver's license
